My attempt at an interpretation of A Starry Night. It was a struggle and I’m still finishing it off, (sewing the fabric to the piece.)

A progression of Tattoo healing. Photo one is fresh.
Photo 2 is what an infected tattoo looks like 5 days after you get it.
Photo three is ~5 months healed, and still healing.
The underlying red is scarred skin.
I love it. It means so much to me, and holds a lot of meaning even in its attempt to heal.

Week one of actually working with metal in my #jewelrymaking class.
Starting with solder tags. E and M have been annealed. The H has not. It’ll have to wait until I am ready to rivet it all together next week.
